The weather-stripping on the cover may absorb soapy residue from a car wash, so we recommend wiping down the inside of your rails from time to time.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf the vehicle is driven frequently in dusty conditions, it is recommended to periodically clean dirt and dust from inside the rails and spiral canister with a wet towel. To further improve cover performance, it is acceptable to apply a thin film of plastics safe, silicon based lubricant.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt is recommended that you periodically check that the cover is securely attached to your truck bed. Inspect the clamps and front mounting bolts to ensure they were properly installed and have not come loose or knocked out of adjustment during operation.
