Awesome cover this is my second one Some reviews say they leak I have 2 trucks with MAX4 covers and neither one leaks

I would like to say this is a great folding cover. It being for a GMC Sierra EV made it a little unknown because it's designed differently for EV body. The photos show finished how it seals against window. It seals fine, but before I bought I couldn't find any photos of window area. That made me nervous because i want sure how it would fit. It looks great , but not 100% water proof. Going through carwash had some minimal drips. It had very minor shipping damage that Truck Bed Supplies quickly resolved. Good job TBS!

I love this cover. Looks great. Very secure. Easy install. Opens and latches with ease. Kudos to Truck Bed Supplies for super fast shipping. I had originally ordered from another big name company but after no order update for a week i cancelled. Ordered from truck bed supplies and received the cover two days later!

The used 2017 Tacoma I purchased had a damaged, heavy folding tonneau. I found the UnderCover Flex Hard Folding Tonneau to be an excellent replacement. Lightweight, easy to install, operate, and weather tight.

Requires a 3/8” shim on both rails so that the cover tracks properly align with the bed rails. The latch mechanism would not engage without this process step. This would have been helpful to include within the package contents.

I have not taken this on the road yet so this review is purely based on the installation process and thoughts about the construction of the tonneau and topper.

The pros:
-side rails were pre-marked so I didn’t have to even measure the pivot point for the topper which we very convenient.
-the materials seem sturdy and everything fit the bed of my truck perfectly
-it was very simple in terms of what is needed and the process.

The cons:
-the instructions were vague at points or lacked detail that I would’ve thought was important. But if you watch a couple of the videos online and compare it to the printed instructions you can figure it out for the most part.
-There was not enough washers so luckily I had a few extras
-Maybe it’s my fault for not paying close attention to the details of the product but the front and rear panels are clear plastic, not black fabric even though the photos made it look like black fabric. I bought this hoping to store stuff over night in the bed of the truck while on a road trip but now will need to figure out how to black out the clear panels. The site offers black out panels but it also offers clear panels so I didn’t really think much of it. So just forewarning, they are clear unless you pay for the blackout panels.

Overall I think this product is very well thought out and built, the instructions and photos online could be better/more thorough.

The unknown is how it’ll hold up in the Phoenix heat.

Absolutely love it. Looks great! Takes up the absolute minimal amount of Bed space. Ease of operation is fantastic. Works perfect for my needs. Very reasonably priced for the product you get. Sturdy, well made, priced right, functional, ease of operation, what more can I say. I love it. In fact, I am going to buy one for my wife's Gladiator.
I highly recommend that you consider this top when you are shopping.
