Q: Is the EGR RollTrac water proof? A: EGR states that the EGR RollTrac is weather-proof. The EGR RollTrac should not leak through the top slat surface, the side rails, canister, or the drainage tube system. However, as we do not conduct each and every fitment ourselves (unit assembly and placement onto the vehicle), we cannot guarantee the integrity of the fitment, and therefore will not guarantee the product will be 'waterproof'. Perimeter sealing and overall gap filling is the responsibility of the fitter you have hired to complete the fitment. Keep in mind, your existing tub has holes with the front wall, floor, and a 10mm gapping around the sides and bottom of the tailgate also.
Q: Where does the water and rainfall go? A: The EGR RollTrac aluminium slats will not allow water to penetrate between them, and any water that falls onto the broad surface area, is dispersed off to the side railing. The water flows through a channel in the side railing, either to the front canister or rear corners, then exits through large drainage tubes.
Q: What is the Warranty period on the EGR ROLLTRAC? A: EGR warrants that the EGR RollTrac will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the retail date of purchase. Warranty must be claimed with an original sales receipt showing proof of purchase. It is recommended that warranty claims be lodged via a place of purchase/fitment
Q: What is the load capacity of the EGR ROLLTRAC? A: EGR RollTrac has a top load capacity of between 200-330lbs depending on your vehicle manufacturer. Please review the yellow warning label on your EGR RollTrac for the nominated capacity for your vehicle. Also please note, your load capacity is also affected and determined by the brand of racking you choose to accessories your EGR RollTrac with. Different Rack manufacturers have different ratings for their racking components. If in doubt, review your warning label located on the canister of the EGR RollTrac unit.
Q: Will there be any drilling into the vehicle body when installing EGR ROLLTRAC? A: Some drilling is required to fit drainage tubes and power wire for electric models.
Q: Is EGR ROLLTRAC compatible with tub liners? A: Yes, with some modification required. Precise trimming requirements are thoroughly outlined in the fitting instructions for each product.
Q: How do I clean my EGR ROLLTRAC? A: For the surface, a standard car wash works just fine. For clearing debris, leaves, or other organic material that has fallen onto the EGR RollTrac and collected in the canister, open the access ports of the canister and remove any items sitting idle in the bottom.
Q: Will installing the EGR ROLLTRAC affect mu fuel economy? A: Recent University studies have demonstrated that installing a flat cover onto the bed of your pick up can improve your fuel consumption by 7-10%. Installing accessories onto the EGR RollTrac such as bike carriers and loading rails may reduce the amount of benefit.
Q: Will my EGR ROLLTRAC discolor over time? A: The UV-stable powder coat finish of the EGR RollTrac has been tested in the harshest conditions and complies with all leading motor car company requirements. You should not expect any discoloring of your EGR RollTrac.

Q: What do I do if I have a warranty issue with my EGR ROLLTRAC? A: In the instance of submitting a warranty claim, please return to the place of purchase or fitment, and lodge with them directly, as essentially, they sold you the product. They will then claim on your behalf, to EGR. Q: Are spare parts available for EGR ROLLTRAC? A: EGR has a range of service kits for interchangeable parts on EGR RollTrac.
Q: Can I install EGR ROLLTRAC myself? A: We recommend that your EGR RollTrac is installed by an EGR-accredited fitter. Correctly fitting the EGR RollTrac can be an extensive procedure for the un-trained, and access to specialised tools and technical know-how improves the overall result. Poor fitment can reduce the quality of the product you have purchased.
Q: My EGR ROLLTRAC is not tracking smoothly. A: Check that the side rails are fitted parallel. Also, check there is nothing in the sidetracking that could be in the way of the slats tracking smoothly. Check your owner's manual for steps on recalibrating your unit.
Q: Does the EGR ROLLTRAC lock my tailgate? A: The EGR RollTrac integrates with your vehicle's central locking. When the tailgate is closed and the EGR RollTrac is locked, the EGR RollTrac locks into the vehicle's tailgate, securing your load area.
Q: What happens if my car battery if out of Power? Will I be able to open the EGR ROLLTRAC? A: The EGR RollTrac is equipped with a manual override function. Unlock your OE tailgate lock with your OE supplied key to access the override handle located on the right-side of the canister. You will be able to unlock the Electric EGR RollTrac and operate it manually in the event of a battery or other electrical failure.

Warranty Terms:
This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Warranty must be claimed with original sales receipt for proof of purchase. EGR warrants that the EGR RollTrac will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years for the electric bed cover and five (5) years for the manual from the retail date of purchase. All warrantied pieces will be replaced as needed and full cover replacements will be determined by EGR, Inc. Warranty claims are to be lodged with EGR, Inc. and request should be sent to info@egrusa.com or called in at 800-757-7075.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover failure due to neglect, improper installation, including any modifications to installation hardware, alterations, addition of non-genuine equipment, abuse, accident, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, misuse, and exposure to chemicals that are not safe for plastics or hardware components. Incidental or consequential damage or loss of contents due to use, neglect, lack of maintenance, misuse of EGR RollTrac is sole responsibility of the vehicle owner and operator. Paint wear and panel damage due to (clamping / installation) on the vehicle bed can happen with EGR RollTrac and is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Paint and panel damage to your vehicle is not covered under this warranty.
Disclaimer:
In the event that your EGR RollTrac is found to be defective under the terms of this warranty, it is at the discretion of EGR to repair or replace the defective part. Transportation costs and fitment labor are not associated with this warranty claim.
Within the existing text, the only change that will be needed is changing the EGR RollTrac warranty periods from 3 years to 3-5 years.

Cancellations & Refunds: At Truck Bed Supplies we pride ourselves on having the best return policies in the industry. Cancel your order any time before it ships completely free of charge (exceptions apply such as custom/special orders, see below).

Cancellations After The Order Has Shipped
Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled. If you no longer want the item, you will need to wait until it is delivered and then initiate a return. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required to properly return the item.
Cancellations of Custom Orders
Custom or made-to-order products cannot be canceled or refunded as these products are put into production specifically for your order.
These units are custom-made to your specifications or created once you order. Once you place your order they start building your unit. Your warranty will guarantee you a fully functional and operational product. If it is not clear whether your order is custom or made to order, please message or call us.
All sales are final for custom-made and Made-to-order products.
Refunds and Returns.
If you need to exchange your product, you may do so, as long as the product has not been used or opened. You, as the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs throughout any returns and exchange processes.
Not all orders are available for return once they have shipped. We order our products directly from the manufacturer. Therefore, if the manufacturer will not permit us to return a product, we cannot offer you a return. This often varies on a case-by-case basis; please reach out to us if you would like specific information on your brand and/or product.
Due to drastically increasing LTL/freight shipping costs, any outright returns will incur a 20% restocking fee + return shipping costs. If you are replacing the product with something else, we may be able to help you cover some of the costs depending on the product.
Customers have 30 days from the date they received the item to initiate a return.

When you are making a purchase from Truck Bed Supplies, you are acknowledging the following of the Exchange Agreement:
I understand I am to inspect the package upon delivery, and notate and take pictures if there is any damage and provide it to Truck Bed Supplies within 24 hours of the product being delivered.
I understand that I am responsible for the cost of return shipping and the cost of a new product shipping in the case of a refund or exchange.
I understand that products need to be returned unopened and unused. An additional restocking fee may occur.
I understand that if my order has left the warehouse, that I am unable to receive a full refund.
I understand that if I return my order once it has shipped, I will be responsible for paying any return shipping fees and restocking fees, which vary by product but are usually around 20%.
I understand that shipping date estimates outlined on product pages are estimates and may change due to factors completely outside the control of Truck Bed Supplies.
I understand and agree that I will not cancel my order or file a chargeback for an order delay or because an estimate time provided to me turned out to be incorrect due to factors outside the control of Truck Bed Supplies (such as manufacturing and logistical constraints of our partner companies).
Damages
If a package appears to have been damaged during shipping, most likely the item is still okay. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, you should take any pictures and make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos of damage, box and SKU, along with a brief description of the damage tosales@truckbedsupplies.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Photos and videos must be sent for freight damage within 48 hours of arrival or the freight damage claim will not be valid. Any punctures, or visible signs of exterior damage must be reported within 48 hours.
Warranty
Warranties vary depending upon the manufacturer - see individual product pages for details. Warranty damages occur over time and from use. If an item was damaged upon arrival, and not reported within 30 days, that is not a warranty claim.
Returns
If you choose to return an item for any reason other than shipping damage or product defects within 30 days of receiving it, please contact us first to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the correct return address. Please note that return addresses may differ from the original shipping address, so it's important to reach out before sending your item back. You, the customer, are responsible for all return shipping costs, including any insurance. Once we receive the item and confirm that it is unused and undamaged, we will issue a full refund, minus a 20% restocking fee.
